Have an open mind

Father Steve's presentation was really interesting! I liked how he used the iceberg to explain cultural differences that we don't normally hear about. I didn't know how different grammar is in different languages, especially Latin-based ones. It was also interesting that he hated Italy, but grew to love it. His presentation made me want to be really open when I visit China, and not be afraid to speak the language. I'm also determined now to experience the actual culture of China, not just the tip of the iceberg.
